So I know tumblr has sort of cooled down on the Jack-Layton-is-amazing-and-will-be-sorely-missed kick it was on a few weeks ago, but as an American who is regrettably out-of-touch with Canadian politics (I know, I know… No excuses), I’m only just realizing what the hype was all about.  Sitting at a coffeeshop right now procrastinating on transfer application essays, I’ve been devouring article upon article about this man and actually started tearing up over my iced coffee… What an incredible politician and human being in general.  He stood for pretty much everything good in the world…
