Had an enlightening violin lesson at UMich today, talked to some admissions people about the potentiality of my Northwestern credits transferring if I should so choose to make the switch, scheduled a lesson with my old teacher from the Detroit Symphony for next weekend, planned a trip Up North for this coming weekend with my boyfriend, hemmed a skirt, hung out with my Mom, ate some real good leftovers, looked up/made shopping lists for recipes online, returned library books…
Productive day!!! Excited to play my violin tomorrow… It feels really good to be motivated again, to want to play well for someone, to want to play well for myself.
